We are on day number 3 of our haunted house countdown. If we haven’t mentioned your favorite Halloween attractions, shout it out. Let us know what we’re missing.
For today’s haunted house, we are heading all the way down to Baton Rouge, LA, a city historically known for ghosts, voodoo, and things that go bump in the night. Baton Rouge really knows how to get the fright on!
The 13th Gate Haunted House, located at 832 Saint Philip Street in downtown Baton Rouge, is one of the most frightening themed indoor and outdoor haunted attractions that is guaranteed to bring your worst nightmares to life. From crawling though a Crematory oven and an old hearse to being lost in dark underground tunnels, haunted asylums, claustrophobic cellars, swamp invested with real snakes, this 40,000 square foot haunted house is definitely not recommended for the faint of heart.
During the Halloween season, over 100 professional actors, 12 special effects makeup and airbrush artists, and several costume specialist work together to bring this terrifying show to life each night.
We’re having a great weekend. Get outdoors, do something frightful, and tell us about it.
If your plans include a party or company in the yard or if you’re a caterer with planned events, don’t forget your Bite-Lite® Natural Mosquito Repellent Candles. Light the candles about 20 minutes before you plan on being outdoors. These natural repellents are based on recent research, using essential oils that disable the mosquito’s sensors. If you think it’s too cold for mosquitoes, read my blog on hardy mosquitoes that can survive in the snow. Bite-Lite® natural repellents are available at your local Retailer or can be purchased on our Products page.
